Philanthropy / Mentoring

- Sponsored Gala/Charity for the Greenwich Hospital Cancer Center. Makeover of the cancer survivors from the Circle of friends at Griffin Hospital.

- Held a fashion show where a total of $4500 was raised; $2500 for the Cancer Center and $2000 for The Derby CT Senior Center.


- Neighbors to Neighbors: Raised money and Christmas gifts for families in need on Christmas.

-Auctioned and donated her high fashion garments to Fundraise for the 60hrs of Hunger in New Hampshire.

- Additionally raised money for:
• The Purple Project: Pancreatic Cancer.
• Paws for a Cause: Leukemia
• CT Veterans
• The Shelton Fire Co
• Griffin Hospital Annual fundraising for the Cancer Center.  I do it (Every year since 2018)
• The Beauty Foundation: Cancer organization for Women with Breast Cancer.
• Angel Babies Gone Too Soon: Helps and support women who suffered, stillbirths, miscarriages.
• American Diabetes
• Veterans Association
• Meals on Wheels

- Gave a special prom for a very deserving Autistic High School Student, Leilenna. Agathe gifted her a prom dress, custom-designed for her by LIKOBA. A full makeover, was provided for the girl with makeup, hair, and manicure and pedicure. She was provided with a personal chauffeur for her and her mother for the evening. Leilenna is a very special and precious young lady. She's a Derby resident and Derby High school student with an article about her in the Valley Voice. As Agathe stated "This touched me so much. I happily mentor her now."

- Organized a fashion show to raise money for a school building in Ghana and support the education system. She also honored the memory of Donald Y. Brown for his dedication and service to the children and community of the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Founder and president of the Community Improvement Project (CIP), Professor Brown helped provide, and then improve educational and medical support to the impoverished village of Wadie-Adwumakasa. Student and administrative volunteers from Iona College assisted in the implementation of his plan. He emphasized, “By building new facilities as well as improving the existing infrastructure, the Education Group Foundation works to make high quality education available to every child. We have Africans and Americans working together to create better opportunities in education and health for the Ghanaian people.” (From The Education Group Foundation)

- Agathe is a member of the Greenwich Rotary and was honored as the 1st Black Woman member February 2021 while the Club celebrated its 100th anniversary. With the Rotary, the mission of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty. With the Greenwich Rotary Club, help and support is offered to many local and international organizations. They are present and very active with world affairs. Kids in crisis, neighbors in Abilis, family centers, the list of their involvement is long.
